In my world....

Sorry I haven't bloggered for a while, why? Been very busy. This full-time job lark is more difficult than I thought. I used to spend hours doing nothing, now I'm always busy doing something. Time is precious now than ever before, which is good. I get up at 6.30am every day and get out of the house at 7.30am or so.

The Work Placement is going well, I was talked into doing a photo shoot yesterday, which was a laugh (we had to lie down with our heads touching and "smile for the camera" ! ) I'm also doing some acting (really small part) tomorrow. I'm looking forward to it, should be fun! I get to wear what I want for the day! Yeay! :)

Wow, just viewed the blog, it's been a week! Wow, doesn't time fly, when you having fun! (Well I've been busy, honest I have)

Other developments are that I'm re-designing my .com site with lots of PHP add-ons etc and a Guestbook as well. See how that goes. Also have a lot of Decorating and Gardening to do... so much to do, so little time to do it...!

Today's been a awful day weather wise. As for my placement in the LTDU at Brunel University, I've got two big tasks to do now, 1 is designing a web base (HTML with Quizzes etc) for Prof Colin Millar and the other is re-designing a section of the Careers Site at Brunel, which was bought from the University of Reading. The latter interests me more as I love web design and working on project people outside the Uni will see. The other project is more updating and client based work and what the "client" wants.

I attend my first LTDU Unit meeting as well, which was a little boring at times, but I learned a lot about the Units and it's plans, which I can't discuss.

I'm also doing some acting (small part) in a Equality and Diversity Video on Friday, so I'll blog that then. Until then, I have lines to learn and these two projects to do.

I also got my first term marks back and am pleased with the high grades I attained in the subjects and also coursework marks as well.

Hope the weather improves... oh well, it's the Britsh Summer after all! We had a fire bell go off today and spent 20 mins in the rain, sheltered only my the Lecture Centre :( !

2 Weeks of Work

The Past two weeks have been very hectic at my new job, lots to learn, especially as it's a University (Brunel) where I'm working. Done lots of admin and boring stuff, but now I'm working on the Careers Section of the University site, so things should get better. The others who I work with are really nice, wish everyone was like them. They are all past or present students, so it's easy to talk with them.

On the technical side, I've been learning to program JavaScript (by hand) and have done more work on CSS Style Sheets and HTML. I've also been using Photoshop and soon will be using Avid Express (a professional video editing package)!

So much to tell, not enough webspace! I could type for weeks, no.. make that decades, lol!

Until the next time I click online, it's Aurevoir! Bye!
